Clemson's Tee Higgins can't stop making absurd catches

Clemson’s Tee Higgins had himself a day.

With the No. 2 Tigers taking on The Citadel it wasn’t going to be enough to just come away with a victory. No, Clemson needed to show that it could top its own standards.

Enter Higgins — who took that challenge upon himself and came up with two highlight reel touchdown catches.

The first is a product of pure determination. Higgins bobbled a pass in the end zone, stuck with it and dove to secure the ball before it reached the ground. When you’re as athletic as Higgins is, those plays look easy. So the wide receiver bested himself just for good measure.

Late in the third quarter, Higgins completed a one-handed catch along the sidelines before somehow keeping his balance and darting off 78 yards for the score.

All together Higgins totaled 178 yards with two touchdowns on just six receptions for the Tigers.

Clemson defeated The Citadel 61-3. And if that final score doesn’t impress the College Football Playoff committee, perhaps Higgins performance will.
