‘The Cleaning Lady’ Renewed for Season 4 at Fox

The Cleaning Lady” has been renewed for Season 4 at Fox, Variety has confirmed.

The news comes ahead of the two-hour Season 3 finale, which will air May 21 at 8 p.m. ET.

The crime drama series stars Élodie Yung as Thony De La Rosa, a Cambodian-Filipino former surgeon who works as a cleaning service worker in Las Vegas. After witnessing a murder, Thony is offered a job both as a cleaner and a doctor within a criminal organization.

Martha Millan, Eva De Dominici, Kate Del Castillo, Santiago Cabrera, Sebastien and Valentino LaSalle, Sean Lew and Faith Bryant also star. Adan Canto, who played gangster Arman Morales, died at age 42 in January after a private bout of appendiceal cancer.

Per the official Season 3 description: “The stakes for Thony are higher and more intense than ever, from losing her protector Arman (Canto), to Thony’s efforts to bring Fiona (Millan) back to the U.S. after she was deported to the Philippines.”

“The Cleaning Lady” marks the first Southeast Asian-led drama series and the first starring a lead of Cambodian descent. The series’ third season is averaging 3.6 million multiplatform viewers, a lift of +131% from Live + Same Day, according to Fox.

Based on the original Argentine series, “The Cleaning Lady” is produced by Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment. Miranda Kwok, who developed the series, serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Jeannine Renshaw. Rose Marie Vega and Paola Suarez also are executive producers, while Shay Mitchell and David Dean Portelli are executive consultants.
