Tributes to the late Adan Canto have continued to pour in after his death earlier this week, including emotional remembrances from his Cleaning Lady co-stars.

“This is how we met on our pilot, laughing… and we never stopped,” wrote series star Elodie Yung (aka Thony De La Rosa), alongside a photo of her and Canto on the show’s set. “This is how I will always remember you Adan. All my love goes to you and to your beautiful family. Rest in peace my friend.”

“No words can express. @adancanto so much love for you and your family,” added Martha Millan, who plays Thony’s sister-in-law, Fiona, on the series.

Oliver Hudson, who co-starred as FBI Agent Garrett Miller until his character’s demise in Season 2, penned the following Instagram tribute: “I only knew Adan for 2 years but it was enough to know what an amazing friend, father and man he was. Wow did he loved [sic] his family. We would spend so much time talking about our kids and what kind of people they might become. Getting out of LA to live a simpler existence where nature and vast landscapes set the tone for the day. He would invite me many times to ride motorcycles through the New Mexico mountains but I never did… I regret that. I can now imagine what those rides meant to him. I’m truly devastated. Love you my man.”

“I’m kinda at a loss for words. A loss for thoughts,” said Sean Lew, who plays teenager Chris, in an Instagram Story on Tuesday. “A loss for what to think. Just really lost. Adan, you were one of the coolest people I’ve ever worked with. I was honored to be your castmate. I was never in any of your scenes but I would always catch you during lunch and share a laugh with you every single time. We continue the show in honor of you and everything you’ve given us. Not a single day will go by without acknowledging what you’ve given this world. Thank you for everything and I will truly miss you.”

Canto’s publicist, Jennifer Allen, confirmed to TVLine on Tuesday that the actor died Jan. 8 of appendiceal cancer. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Ann Canto, and children Roman Alder, 3, and Eve Josephine, 1.

“We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Adan Canto,” Warner Bros. Television and Fox said in a statement on Tuesday. “A wonderful actor and dear friend, we were honored to have him as part of the Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment families since his U.S. debut in The Following more than a decade ago. Most recently, he lit up the screen in The Cleaning Lady with a powerful performance that showcased his artistry, range, depth and vulnerability. This is an unfathomable loss, and we grieve alongside his wife Stephanie, their children and loved ones. We will miss Adan dearly.”

The Cleaning Lady returns on Tuesday, March 5, at 8/7c, and will reportedly honor Canto with a tribute card during the Season 3 premiere.
