Don't look now, but January's almost gone. But there's one weekend left and it's packed with fun things to do around the Jacksonville area. If Mozart, fishing captains, R&B songstresses, the Dread Pirate Roberts and an "American Idol" dream team aren't good enough, we're not sure what to tell you.

You can’t go anywhere in Jacksonville without crossing a bridge. Wouldn’t it be nice to be traveling under it next time? The indoor Jacksonville Boat Show, which is at the Prime Osborn Convention Center this weekend, will have boats, personal watercraft, equipment, fishing seminars and kids’ fishing clinics. Captains Kevin Faver and Kirk Waltz will be around at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday to share local fishing tips. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. $15.

"The Princess Bride," Rob Reiner's classic fairytale/comedy/romance/adventure/pirate film, will be shown at the Florida Theatre on Friday, then Carey Elwes (Westley, the Man in Black and the Dread Pirate Roberts) will be on hand to share tales about his experiences on the set. Six-fingered men should proceed with caution. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. $32.50-$100.

We looked it up and Jan. 26 is not the birthday of Monica, Tank, Keyshia Cole, Keke Wyatt or Tamar Braxton, but they’re throwing a Birthday Bash party anyway. Showtime is 8 p.m. Friday at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. Tickets are $89-$210.

People paid a lot of attention to “American Idol” during its early years, especially the second season when 24 million people voted, giving the title to Ruben “The Velvet Teddy Bear” Studdard over runner-up Aiken. Now it's 20 years later and they're on the same bill, doing two shows Saturday at the cozy Ritz Theatre, at 6 and 9:30 p.m. $60-$75.
