Clawson sushi spot Noble Fish plans pop-up location at Troy's Somerset Collection

Clawson's Noble Fish Sushi and Market plans to open a second location next week.

The notable and longstanding popular spot for sushi and Japanese groceries announced on Instagram that it will open a pop-up location Somerset Collection in Troy on Nov. 1, with a soft opening. A grand opening is planned Nov. 6.

Noble Fish Sushi and Market will be located in Somerset's south wing, on level 2 next to the Coffeehaus off the skywalk. The menu will be slightly smaller than the Clawson location's and offer mainly sushi.

“We are very excited to collaborate with Somerset on this project. This will be a Holiday Pop-Up with the goal of making this a long term relationship,” Doran Brooks, business development manager of Noble Village Group, said in a email to the Free Press.

Noble Fish is one of the most highly regarded places in metro Detroit for sushi. It previously operated in a small area at the back of the market. The restaurant was added in 1991 to the market.

In January 2020, the market and sushi spot on 14 Mile Road expanded its operations.
