Claudio Castagnoli is coming to New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
At the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 30 final on May 28, Shota Umino announced that he, Jon Moxley, and Castagnoli will challenge Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Tomohiro Ishii for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship at NJPW Dominion on June 4.
Moxley will make his return to Japan for the first time since 2020 at NJPW Dominion, while the event will mark Castagnoli’s debut in Japan for the company.

Moxley, Umino, and Wheeler Yuta defeated Okada, Ishii, and Rocky Romero at NJPW Resurgence on May 21.
Castagnoli is the reigning ROH World Champion. He and Moxley will compete alongside their Blackpool Combat Club stablemates in the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing on May 28.
