Who is guitarist David Rogers?

Rogers is a prominent guitarist who has recorded for Dorian, Callisto and Focus Recordings.

According to his website, he's been "praised by The Washington Post for his ‘astonishingly florid’ improvisations."

For this concert, he will present an evening of Spanish music, Latin, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, The Rolling Stones, Roxy Music, Cheap Trick and Carla Bley songs, as well as music by J.S. Bach and original compositions, according to a press release from Four Corners Arts Center.

He is an endorsing artist for Aquila Strings (Italy), and has been featured in major guitar magazines such as Fingerstyle Guitar in the United States and Akustic Gitarre in Germany.

According to his website, Rogers has given recitals and conducted master classes throughout North America, including performances and classes at the San Francisco Conservatory and the University of Southern California and The Interlochen National Arts Camp.
