This classic Scottsdale bar is closing after 18 years. And they're hosting a farewell party

After 18 years, Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch is saying goodbye to the Center Stage Bar. Open since 2006, the bar offered live music, food, and beverage both indoors and on the patio.

The bar's closure is part of a $110 million renovation of the resort into a Grand Hyatt property. Celebrity Chef Richard Blais will bring six new dining concepts as part of the renovation, with H2Oasis pool bar already open.

The hotel will bid farewell to the old-school bar with one last event, Curtain Call, which will include live music, cigars and a special menu of popular food and drinks featured on menus over the years. Expect Cuban sandwiches, buffalo chicken tacos and whipped avocado guacamole with a lime caviar and drinks like a wagyu smoked old fashioned, made with wagyu-fat washed Buffalo Trace; the Pear-fect Martini, made with Absolut pear vodka, ginger liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup and a Cool and Spicy Margarita, made with jalapeno-infused blanco tequila, cucumber, Cointreau and lime. Order whiskey from 5-8 p.m. and receive a cigar that's rolled onsite.

  • 4:30 p.m. – Santana Y Mas

  • 6:30 p.m. – Brian Chartrand

  • 8:30 p.m. – Dirty Yachtin’ Scoundrels

"This event will help us to pay homage to the iconic Center Stage Bar experience while ushering in an exciting new chapter for our property as we continue our extensive renovation,” said Vincent de Croock, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa.

Attend Curtain Call on April 6 from 4-11 p.m. Reservations are recommended and can be made online.
