Clark book signing Oct. 2 at The Branch

Oct. 2—GREENSBURG — Contributing writer to Chicken Soup for the Soul and former pastor in Waldron William Clark will be signing his books and his stories in Chicken Soup for the Soul from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday. Oct. 2, at The Branch in downtown Greensburg.

Clark will also have a unique collection of Chicken Soup for the Soul books, covering the past 25 years.

This is Clark's eighth year of book signings and his non-profit work. For eight years, Clark has helped support the largest and oldest homeless mission in the nation, Pacific Garden Mission. The Branch is also non-profit.

Clark will be giving 15% of the proceeds from the Oct. 2 event to The Branch.

Clark's most popular book is the entertaining short story collection, "A Walk on the Sunny Side." Six of the 23 stories are connected to Indiana.

His latest novel is "Smoky Mountain Rising — The Day That Changed Everything." His completed, unpublished novel will be released next year. It's about healing the great divide in America.

He will be signing his stories in Chicken Soup's "The Magic of Cats" and his true Waldron story in "Miracles and the Unexplainable."

All of his Chicken Soup for the Soul collection will also be available to the public.

The Branch Gathering Place and Coffee House is on the west side of the square at 113 N. Broadway.
