‘City Lights & Stars’ Concert Series returns for another musical season

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a ‘relaxed musical experience’ for the 31st season of City Lights & Stars Concert Series!

Burritt on the Mountain brings back a summer staple for the community to enjoy and also supports the communities’ educational programs.

The series will run from May to September with a total of eight concerts. This year’s lineup features local hometown favorites and regional talent.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. and the shows are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Food trucks will be on-site and an assortment of beverages will be sold at every concert.

The first concert in the series kicked off on May 3 with Mambo Gris Gris, but if you were not able to make it there are plenty of chances to catch another band!

Here is the full list of remaining shows:

  • May 24 – Iron Horse (Blue Grass Band)

  • June 14 – The Utopia Band (R&B)

  • July 5 – Top House (Folk)

  • July 19 – Eric Essix (Jazz)

  • August 9 – Gwen & The Retro Kats (Swing Band)

  • August 30 – Calypso Vision (Blues to Rock Band)

  • September 20 – In the Mood (Swing Band)

Advanced ticket sales end at 11:30 p.m. the day before the concert and all online ticket sales end at 4 p.m. the day of the concert.

Prices for tickets range from $30-$70, depending on if you add on the concert dinner with a view. You can purchase the dinner with your ticket or add the dinner to an already purchased ticket.
