Is Cincinnati a 'Barbie' or 'Oppenheimer' town? We tried to find out

People around the world are asking one simple question: "Barbie" or "Oppenheimer"?

The two blockbuster movies released to theaters Friday, one starring Margot Robbie and a whole lotta pink, the other (which is directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan) is centered around the creation of the atomic bomb.

The star-studded cast lists have everyone talking, and the juxtaposition of the plots has social media filled with memes, memes and more memes.

So is Cincinnati a "Barbie" or "Oppenheimer" town?

My colleague Rasputin Todd and I tried to find that out Thursday. We walked around downtown during our lunch break, asking people the simple question, "'Barbie' or 'Oppenheimer'?" Turns out, Cincinnati Reds fans were mostly worried about beating the San Francisco Giants, not the flicks taking the country by storm. A few people did answer our question, though, and it ended in a 2-2 tie.

We may never know what kind of town Cincinnati truly is.
