PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — It is a round-robin of streaming recommendations for this week’s Cin-Emma Extra.

Beginning with KOIN 6 resident movie/TV buff Emma Jerome’s latest obsession, we have Dark Matter. In this limited series, a physicist in Chicago is warped into an alternate version of his life, leaving him to fight to return to his life to prevent the alternate version of himself from harming his family.

Starring Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly, Dark Matter is on Apple TV+ right now.

If you’re into the messy, salacious and downright despicable, Jerome says Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies, and Scandal. This details the rise and fall of the Canadian dating site for cheaters and the notorious data breach when unknown hackers leaked over 30 million users’ private information.
We hear from the creators, people who were caught and those who were hurt by the leak.

Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies, and Scandal streaming on Netflix right now.

Lastly, we have the film Turtles All The Way Down. When a sixteen-year-old struggling with obsessive–compulsive disorder reconnects with her childhood crush, she confronts the possibility of finding love and happiness in the face of mental illness. Based on the book by John Green, famous for such works as Paper Towns, The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska – all of which have gotten their on screen adaptations in the last few years – Jerome says this is one of the better ones.

Starring Isabella Merced, you can stream Turtles All The Way Down on Max now.
