Ciara Is a Vision in White as a Gala Honoree — See Her Look!

The 'Color Purple' actress sported a trendy look as she prepared to be honored with the Visionary Award at Jhpiego's Laughter Is the Best Medicine Gala

Ciara is being awarded as an advocate for women's health care — and she's stepping out in style to accept the honor.

On May 2, the Grammy-winning artist, 38, stepped out on the red carpet at the health organization Jhpiego's Laughter Is the Best Medicine Gala in Beverly Hills, Calif., to show off her personality in a stunning outfit.

Ciara, who is being honored for her work with organizations like her Why Not You Foundation, was a vision in white, dressed in a double-breasted suit jacket, wide-leg pants, and pointed-toe heels.

The singer accompanied the look with a long trench coat, a sparkly silver necklace, and chic shades. While on the red carpet, she also posed for photos with Kelly Rowland, who wore a sexy black leather dress and recently debuted a new blonde hair color.

Jhpiego, a Johns Hopkins University-affiliated organization that works to make health care more accessible across the world, announced last month that it would be celebrating the Color Purple star for her "unwavering commitment to promoting women's empowerment and equitable access to healthcare" by honoring her with the Visionary Award.

"When we prioritize equitable access to healthcare for all women, we not only transform lives but also build a foundation for a more prosperous society," Ciara said in a press release at the time. I am honored to receive the Visionary Award for my commitment to promoting women's empowerment."

The singer's red carpet styles as of late are a change from her more recent maternity styles, as she welcomed her daughter Amora Princess with husband Russell Wilson in December.

Just a few weeks after welcoming her fourth child, Ciara stepped out in style at the 2024 SAG Awards — where she was nominated for her role in The Color Purple — swapped out her recent bump-centric looks for a sexy, reddish-brown latex look by Venus Prototypex.

The long-sleeve look featured a chest cutout thigh-high slit and draping at her waist, which she called out while talking to E! host Laverne Cox.

"My baby is two months old now," she said, referring to getting back out on the red carpet after giving birth. "But let's cinch the waist just a little bit. A little support!"

The singer and actress accessorized with wood and white diamond bangles mixed with black diamond bangles, as well as diamond earrings from Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry and wore her hair in a brushed-out style.
