Two Saturday Night Live vets are about to come face-to-face with Chucky.

Kenan Thompson (who can be seen at the tail-end of the new trailer embedded above) will cameo as a taxi driver giving the doll a ride, while Sarah Sherman (who famously portrayed the evil doll on the late-night sketch series) will play a new character named Annie.

Season 3 is still set to premiere Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 9/8c on Syfy and USA Network, but the season is now being split into two parts, TVLine has learned. Part 1 will air in October as planned, while the back half of the season will follow some time in 2024.

In Season 3, the redheaded maniac takes Washington D.C. by storm, as he somehow gets inside the infamous walls of the White House and penetrates the First Family. Devon Sawa returns, this time portraying the President of the United States, while Jennifer Tilly’s Tiffany gets nabbed by the police and spends some time behind bars. As for Lexy’s little sister Caroline, she’s still on the lamb with the killer doll, as Jake, Devon and Lexy rush to find them before any more bodies drop. (Fat chance!)

Zackary Arthur, Björgvin Arnarson and Alyvia Alyn Lin are all back as the kids in question, in addition to franchise veterans Tilly, Fiona Dourif and Brad Dourif, as the voice of Chucky. Alex Vincent and Christine Elise’s returns remain TBD.
