Christy Turlington’s Daughter Followed in Her Mom’s Footsteps With Her Milan Runway Debut

Christy Turlington‘s daughter Grace Burns just made her Milan Fashion Week debut and it looks like her mom may have taught her a thing or two.
Burns, 19, is the oldest of Turlington’s two children with actor Edward Burns. The supermodel and the Saving Private Ryan star also share a son, Finn, who was born in 2006. Burns and Turlington have been married since 2003.

Grace strutted on the runway at the Alberta Ferretti spring 2024 collection in a figure-hugging, one-shoulder dress that featured a floral print in blush pink, mauve and soft green. After the show, Grace thanked the brand in a social media post that showcased her walk, writing: “thank you thank you thank you for having me in your show…in a castleeeeee!!!!! So so so honored to be a part of this beautiful collection.”
The up-and-coming model has walked on a runway professionally before at a British Vogue X LuisaViaRoma event and she has also appeared in fashion campaigns for major brands like Carolina Herrera — a campaign that also featured her mom, 54.

Grace’s appearance on the Alberta Ferretti runway marks her first catwalk for a major fashion house. The first of many, we assume! The show took place at Castello Sforzesco in Milan, a stunning location for an even more stunning collection that featured the brand’s signature draping in muted and airy colors.

Grace’s Milan debut comes at a very fitting time as it coincided with the release of The Super Models, an Apple TV+ docuseries starring Turlington along with Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford. In it, Grace’s mom and her fellow fashion icons reflect on their monumental careers and achievements as well as the struggles they faced in a complex industry.
