Christopher Nolan and his wife Emma Thomas made celebrating Oppenheimer's success at the 2024 Oscars a family affair!

Nolan, 53, and Thomas, 52, were pictured posing with three of their four children — and three of Oppenheimer's seven Oscar statuettes — at Sunday's 96th Academy Awards, where their movie won the most awards among all films nominated. In one photo from Sunday's awards show, the pair could be seen posing with sons Oliver and Rory, as well as their daughter Flora. The couple's other son, Magnus, did not appear in the photograph.

Oppenheimer was not just filmmaker Nolan's baby; Thomas served as the director's producing partner and has produced every feature film he has made, dating back to 1998's Following. The couple met while they were university students at the University College London and married in 1997.

Nolan made a point of thanking Thomas while he accepted Sunday's award for Best Director. During his speech, he joked that Thomas is the "producer of all our films and all our children."

"I love you," he told Thomas during his speech, before turning his attention to the history of film. "And to the Academy, just to say movies are just a little bit over 100 years old," he added. "I mean, imagine being there 100 years into painting or theater. We don’t know where this incredible journey is going from here, but to know that you think that I am a meaningful part of it means the world to me."

Nolan received his fourth and fifth individual career Oscar nominations for writing Oppenheimer's screenplay, based on Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin’s J. Robert Oppenheimer biography American Prometheus, and directing the movie. In addition to the movie's Best Picture and Best Director wins, it also took home the statuettes for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Editing.

"I think any of us who make movies know that you kind of dream of this moment. You know you do, right? I could deny it, but I have been dreaming about this moment for so long," Thomas said as she accepted Oppenheimer's Best Picture award Sunday. "But it seemed so unlikely that it would ever actually happen, and now I am standing here and everything has kind of gone out of my head."

Thomas additionally thanked the couple's four children and her late mother in her speech in recognition of Mother's Day in England.

"It’s U.K. Mother’s Day so I am thinking of my mom who is no longer with us today," she said. "And my mother-in-law, Christina, who is here with my dad, so thank you. Oh! And thank you to the Academy! I’m so honored to be here!"
