Christmas is coming early this year for Reba McEntire fans!

Lifetime just announced that the country singer and actress will star in and produce a music-themed holiday movie called Christmas in Tune for the network's 2021 "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" lineup. Reba is even going to record an original song for the film!

"Reba has been a creative force in both music and television for many years. We are thrilled to have her on board to produce and star in not just one—but two movies for us," Lifetime executive Tanya Lopez said in a statement. "Reba has been part of Lifetime's air many years ago and we can’t wait to welcome her back."

Yes, you read that right. Christmas in Tune is actually part of a two-movie deal! The second film, which will not be holiday-themed, is set to be released in 2022.

"I am thrilled to partner with Lifetime for a return to television movies," Reba said. "My fans and I enjoy their programming and loved watching the Reba show there for so many years."

Christmas in Tune will tell the story of Belle, a young marketing executive who is in jeopardy of losing her job. Desperate for ideas, Belle decides that she's going to reunite a famous singing duo for a charity Christmas concert. There's only one problem: The singers are Belle's parents, and they haven't spoken to each other in years. Nevertheless, the quarreling couple teams up to help their daughter get her life back on track—and maybe even find a new man in the process.

The rest of the cast for Christmas in Tune has not been announced, so we don't know yet who will star opposite Reba. Just wondering if Tom Selleck is available? Asking for a friend...
