Christine Quinn's Husband's Request for Restraining Order Against Her Denied by Judge as Court Date Looms

Quinn's attorney called Christian Dumontet's request for a domestic violence restraining order against the 'Selling Sunset' alum "baseless" in a statement to PEOPLE

Christine Quinn's estranged husband's request for a restraining order against her has been denied, the star's attorney confirms to PEOPLE.
The Selling Sunset alum and her software engineer spouse, Christian Dumontet, both requested restraining orders against one another following an alleged domestic violence incident in March that ended with Dumontet's arrest.
Quinn's request was granted by a judge on March 28, while Dumontet's was denied, PEOPLE confirmed on Wednesday, April 17.
In a statement shared with PEOPLE, Quinn's attorney, Jacqueline Sparagna of Werksman Jackson & Quinn, said, "We are pleased that the Court dismissed Christian's baseless request for a DVRO against Christine today. As such, all of his requests have been denied again."
She added, "The Court also extended Christine's Temporary Restraining Order protecting her and her son from Christian until May 14, 2024. We look forward to appearing at that hearing to obtain a permanent restraining order."

According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, the hearing date was pushed because Quinn has been unable to serve Dumontet with the court ordered restraining order. In an earlier document, Quinn's response to her husband's TRO request, she claims that she was told by a man she believes was removing Dumontet's belongings from their shared home that he was "in Europe."
Quinn's restraining order states that she and their son, Christian George, are to have access to the couple's Hollywood Hills home, and that Dumontet must not come within 100 yards (300 feet) of her, her home, her vehicle, her job, or their child’s “school or childcare.” However, since the TRO has not officially been served, those orders cannot currently be enforced. She now has until May 9 to serve Dumontet the order.
The conflict between the pair originated with an alleged domestic violence incident on March 19. The Los Angeles Police Department told PEOPLE at the time that the couple were involved in a "domestic dispute" at their home during which “the suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim, but the object hit the victim’s child causing injury,”

Dumontet was charged with assault with a “deadly weapon,” and their toddler son was treated by paramedics. He claimed in his restraining order request that "there was no glass in the bag."
He was arrested again the following day at their residence for allegedly violating an emergency restraining order that prevented him from visiting the house.
Dumontet filed for divorce on April 5. In documents obtained and reviewed by PEOPLE, he requested a dissolution of their marriage citing irreconcilable differences.

Quinn and Dumontet have been married since December 2019 and welcomed their first and only child together, in May 2021.
They met after Quinn wrapped filming for the first season of Selling Sunset, on which she was a series regular until season 5. Richard made a few cameos on the Netflix real estate docudrama but didn’t use his real last name and instead went by Richard for “privacy reasons,” according to a Netflix representative.
In May 2022, Quinn revealed to PEOPLE that she and her husband had become business partners after teaming up to launch a crypto real estate company, RealOpen. She departed the Oppenheim Group, the agency around which Selling Sunset is based, in order to pursue the business venture.
