Kevin Costner’s divorce from Christine Baumgartner is revealing astonishing details about the couple’s lifestyle — let’s just say it was beyond lavish. The former couple is battling it out in court over child support for their three children, sons Cayden, 16, and Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 13, and the tea Baumgartner’s lawyers are spilling is hot.


Baumgartner is asking for $161,592 per month to help her kids maintain the elite comforts they are used to, but Costner is countering with an offer of $60,000. Her legal team is working hard to reach her ideal number, noting in a legal brief obtained by Us Weekly, “The Court order must allow the children to be supported at a level commensurate with Kevin’s considerable wealth, even if that level of support also improves the standard of living of Christine.”

She’s seeking a house “comparable” to the $145 million compound Costner currently lives on, so that means a “fair market value of $65 million to $95 million and a monthly rental value of at least $150,000.” When it comes to vacations, Baumgartner wants to be able to provide her children with a “private aircraft to go on luxury vacations” just like they do when they are with the 68-year-old actor. Her legal team wants to make sure the kids “participate in their activities with each of their parents” instead of having “to sacrifice some of their activities when they are with Christine or choose to forfeit their time with their mother in order to do so.”


Baumgartner also wants to keep up with Costner’s over-the-top holiday and birthday parties which often included 40 tons of snow trucked in for Christmas sledding and birthday camping parties with 40 tents and taco trucks for their kids to enjoy, according to the Daily Mail. It’s a life that is unreachable for most, but it’s pretty clear that Costner’s family has been enjoying their privileged little bubble — and Baumgartner is here to make sure that doesn’t end.
