Christina Milian and Matthieu Pokora Welcome Their First Child
Christina Milian, a talented singer and actress is a mother again. Her daughter Violet with ex-husband is already 9. She has since their breakup with The Dream in 2011 moved on with Matthieu Pokora, the French beau. Milian seems to have found her Mr. Right, who is also into singing and acting.The French-born singer seems to have taken after his father Brigitte Tota, the famous footballer. Pokora’s first love had been soccer, until his passion for music and acting developed, which he began to pursue.
His first trial in the music industry was in 2003 when he joined the French competitions in reality singing during ‘popstars’ third season. The show aimed at presenting solo acts that would form a boyband. Both the audience and judges appeared to love Pokora, and he made it into the band named ‘Linkup.’“Mon Étoile,” the band’s first single came to the top list of the French charts. The group thought of making the same success when they made a bilingual song aiming to cross over with the ‘You and Me Bubblin’ to the American charts.
The French and English song attempts recorded poor sales, which led to the disbandment of the group when Pokora focused on his solo career. He has since recorded several albums with the 2019’s ‘Pyramide’ coming to the top of the music charts of France.In 2017, the now star met the love of his life in France at a restaurant. Going by what Milian explains, the restaurant’s manager suggested that the two exchange a word as they shared a common interest.
At first, Milian was not interested in Pokora, but she was later quick to change her mind after finding the guy attractive. The two exchanged numbers and surprisingly realized they shared a birthday, which happened to be that same night.The two began dating and even went ahead to talk about siring children together. In a sweet response, Pokora told her newly found love ‘well you don’t have a son yet’ when she disclosed to him that she had a daughter.
Later in 2019 July, the actress took to Instagram to announce the couple was expecting their firstborn. A month later, they revealed the gender which turned out to be the exact what Pokora wished.Milian announced the birth of their son, Isaiah, on January 20, penning a sweet message on her Instagram. She described the birth date 1/20/20 as just perfect and went ahead to tell the son that the world is his. Pokora also shared their newborn son’s photo with a French caption.
