Christina Hendricks Revealed She Is the Hand Model From the Classic 'American Beauty' Movie Poster
Christina Hendricks turned everyone into "Mad Men" and women when she blew fans' minds by revealing that she was a hand model — and that her hand was on one of the most iconic posters of all-time.
"Fun fact.... wait for it...I used to be a model and sometimes a hand model.... this is my hand and another model’s stomach...." the "Mad Men" star, captioned a photo of the poster for the film, "American Beauty."
She added, "Proud to be a part if this film in ANY WAY!!! #americanbeauty."

That bombshell caused a little Instagram insanity in her fans and her famous friends.
Her "Good Girls" co-star Retta exclaimed, “Staaahhhppp,” and her former "Mad Men" co-star January Jones wrote, “This is important. How come I didn’t know this?”
“IM SHOOK!!!!!!” Elle Fanning wrote in the comments, while comedian Whitney Cummings added, “This is blowing my mind.”

The movie came out in 1999 and was met with critical acclaim. It took home Best Picture at the 2000 Oscars and starred Kevin Spacey, Annette Bening, Thora Birch and Mena Suvari.

The actress recently voiced the character Gabby Gabby in "Toy Story 4," another iconic film that she didn't actually have to step in front of the camera for.
