Christina Applegate’s Trick to Surviving Disneyland With Kids

Bad Moms star Christina Applegate is actually a great mom — most recently because she took her kids to Disneyland. The trip itself likely made her kids happy, but on Thursday’s Conan she revealed the key to making herself happy at the Happiest Place on Earth: alcohol.

“Our guide was like, ‘You know, you should probably make reservations, and we have a fine dining restaurant over there,’” Applegate explained. “And we go to this place, and it’s really nice. The food’s really good, and the waitress kept saying, 'I’m going to bring you more booze. Because you’re going to need it.’”

Aladdin’s genie would have been impressed with the waitress because she granted Applegate’s wishes for more booze without any limitations. “She just kept going. I’m like, 'No, I’m fine.’ She’s like, 'I’m bringing you another one.’”

Conan airs weeknights at 11 p.m. on TBS.
