Christina Aguilera is willing to do a song with Britney Spears

Good news, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears fans: There might possibly, maybe be a chance Christina and Britney will do a duet. On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Aguilera, who is about to embark on her first tour in over 10 years — kicking off Sept. 25 — talked about the perceived feud between herself and Spears, and how things might have gone differently if social media had been around back in the day.

“There was a Britney-Christina, ya know, considered rivalry thing,” Aguilera told Kimmel. “And, yeah, if we had social media back then, we would have probably done a song together and just squashed the whole …” That’s as far as she made it before the audience went crazy.

When the host pushed about the possibility of the two doing a song together, Aguilera answered, “Hey, I’m down.” When pressed further, she left it open to possibility, which is all we can hope for.
