The "Uptown Girl" is still singing her song. There’s no bad blood between Christie Brinkley, 70, and her ex-husband, Billy Joel, 74, as evidenced by videos and photos that Brinkley shared from the Piano Man’s Madison Square Garden concert last week.

The supermodel shared multiple videos and photos from the concert, which was part of Joel’s historic monthly residency at the famed arena. Joel has been performing monthly at the arena since 2014.

“Joel's record-breaking residency began in January 2014, and it will come to an end in 2024 after his 150th lifetime show at the storied venue on July 25,” said People magazine.

Joel Sang 'Uptown Girl' To Brinkley

A video of Joel singing his famous ode to Brinkley, “Uptown Girl,” while Brinkley enjoyed the music in the crowd, went viral on TikTok last week. In the video, Joel struts around the stage singing his classic tune, while cameras cut to Brinkley beaming in the crowd.

Brinkley also shared videos that included snippets of her daughter with Joel, singer Alexa Ray, singing with her famous dad, while she and her other daughter, Sailor, rocked out in the crowd.

Brinkley shares Sailor, 25, with her ex-husband, Peter Cook. She is also mom to Jack, with ex-husband Richard Taubman, who was later adopted by Cook.

On May 1, Brinkley shared another behind-the-scenes clip from the concert. In the video, Sailor stands backstage with Joel, aka Uncle Billy, singing  Joel’s hit song, “You May Be Right.”

“She’s got the attitude,” Joel says warmly as Sailor hams it up for the camera.

“Sailor gave Uncle Billy a few pointers before his show. You may be right, she may be crazy, but it was only show 101 in his historic run so she was just trying to be helpful!,” the proud mom wrote before tagging Madison Square Garden, Sailor, and Alexa.

“PS, those two lunatics in the audience were Sailor and me!” Brinkley wrote, referencing clips of she and Sailor in the crowd dancing to “You May Be Right” during the concert.

Brinkley and Joel are one of music's most iconic couples. The rock star and the model were married from 1985 to 1994, and are clearly still on good terms today. Brinkley is well known as the inspiration behind Joel's smash hit, "Uptown Girl," with lyrics like, "I'm gonna try for an uptown girl | She's been living in her white-bred world | As long as anyone with hot blood can | And now she's looking for a downtown man | That's what I am."

Brinkley told Social Life magazine that she and Joel remained close after their divorce through their daughter and their shared love of music.

"'Many years after our divorce, Billy would still come to my house for the Christmas singalong and play the piano, and all our friends would come over and sing Christmas carols. Singalongs are one of my favorite things to do. And you know that’s what makes everybody happy,' Christie says."

American Songwriter reported that Joel said that the song should give "every ugly guy" hope.

"'The fact that I can attract such a beautiful woman as Christie should give hope to every ugly guy in the world,' Joel has said, talking about the song."
