Christian Oliver Completed Last Movie Before Tragic Death

Christian Oliver looks to have completed filming his role in the movie thriller Forever Hold Your Peace before the German-born Hollywood actor died in a plane crash.

Nick Lyon, director of the indie that Oliver also had a producer credit on, could not be reached for comment by The Hollywood Reporter. But on Dec. 20, Lyon took a photo of himself and the late actor on their last day of production together that was posted on his Instagram page on Jan. 4, the day of Oliver’s tragic death.

“This is our 5th film together. @christianoliverofficial and me produced this one, and this is our last day of filming! We talked about producing a film together for years and finally did it! Thank you for being a great colleague, actor and friend @christianoliverofficial #foreverholdyourpeace,” Lyon said on the social media platform as he paid tribute to the late actor.

Oliver, 51, and his two daughters are presumed dead after an aircraft they were on crashed into the sea around the small Caribbean island of Petit Nevis on Thursday.

Bai Ling, a fellow actor on Forever Hold Your Peace, also offered her own tribute to Oliver on her Instagram page after news of his plane crash was announced.

“Dear Christian Oliver @christianoliverofficial with tears in my eyes I cannot express the sorrow I felt when our direct Nick called me not long ago, that the plane he took had crashed , including his beautiful 2 daughters and the pilot had all passed! In the Caribbean‘s. He was having holidays. I just could not believe it is the truth, the last we worked filming in #hollywood was December 20th 2023, just right before Christmas,” the Chinese-American actress wrote on the social media site.

“He was so. nice, worked so hard and such a brave #actor and a beautiful gentle person, we played #lovers in this film, just so so so sad ……. And his daughters were so so young ….. dear Christian may your soul Rest In Peace , Sending love To your families 💖🙏💖,” Ling added.

Oliver’s many credits range from big-screen performances in Valkyrie and The Baby-Sitters Club to a turn on the TV series Sense8, among others.
