Christian McCaffrey Says Olivia Culpo Has 'Done a Hell of a Job' Planning Their Wedding: 'Her Style Is Unbelievable'

The NFL star and the model got engaged in April 2023 after nearly four years of dating

Christian McCaffrey says his fiancée Olivia Culpo is a total pro at wedding planning.

The San Francisco 49ers running back, 27, revealed that Culpo has taken charge of all the details of their upcoming nuptials amid his busy NFL season, which will culminate in a Super Bowl appearance on Sunday.

"She's done a hell of a job," McCaffrey told Extra in a clip shared on TikTok on Tuesday. "She's definitely steering the ship when it comes to anything regarding the wedding as of now. It's been going really well."

While he said he offers his input "when needed," he is happy to leave the planning in Culpo's very capable hands.

"Obviously, her style is unbelievable and everything that she wants I also like," he noted, adding, "I'm so thankful that I have someone like her who's not just supporting me the way she is but also handling all stuff like that, allowing me to do what I love in the moment while she's still working on her career as well."

The athlete also hinted that the big day might not be too far off. "I'm sure you guys will be seeing plenty coming soon," he teased.

On Monday, McCaffrey took another opportunity to publicly praise the former Miss Universe, 31, this time for always steadfastly supporting him in his football career.

“She’s sacrificed so much and I think all the wives do, but it's tough especially in season, a lot of late nights, a lot of time at the facilities,” he told reporters at the Super Bowl LVIII Opening Night event in Las Vegas.

“She obviously is so successful in the world right now in her career, and to see her support me the way she does it means the world to me … and hopefully I can return the favor," he added.

After the 49ers' NFC Championship win over the Detroit Lions on Jan. 28 — which clinched the team's spot in the Super Bowl — Culpo posted a touching tribute to her fiancé on Instagram.

Over a video of the pair emotionally embracing after the game, she wrote, "Watching the love of your life live out his dream is the best feeling in the world."

“You deserve it all Christian ❤️. I love you so so much," she captioned the post.

The couple got engaged in April 2023 after nearly four years of dating. Shortly after she shared the happy news on Instagram, Culpo told PEOPLE she was "so excited" to be marrying McCaffrey.

"It's been the thrill of a lifetime, honestly," she added of their engagement.
