An investigation by Red Bull Racing's parent company into allegations of inappropriate behavior by Formula 1 principal Christian Horner is complete, according to multiple reports.

On Wednesday, BBC Sport's chief F1 reporter, Andrew Benson, shared a statement from Red Bull GmbH regarding the company's findings regarding Horner, 50, the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team principal and husband to Spice Girl singer Geri Halliwell-Horner.

“The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed," a spokesperson for the company said in the statement, which was also shared by ESPN and The Athletic.

Red Bull said it is "confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous, and impartial" into the alleged behavior by Horner, who was accused of inappropriate behavior in a report by Dutch news outlet De Telegraaf in February.

According to the company's statement, the "complainant has a right of appeal" to the decision.

Per the reports, Red Bull GmbH added that "the investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned."

Concluding the address, Red Bull said the company "will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards."

Earlier this month, Horner denied the allegations made against him. “I obviously deny fully the allegations that have been made against me,” Horner told CNN. “There’s an ongoing process and that obviously is being worked through at the moment.”

Horner would not answer the outlet when it asked him when a decision about the investigation and his future with the Red Bull team would be announced. Though, the former driver said he’s “working with that process.”

BBC noted that the specific details of the allegations brought against Horner have not been made public since being disclosed earlier this month.

In a statement prior to the dismissal, Red Bull said the independent investigation “is being carried out by an external specialist barrister.”

“The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible,” Red Bull said, according to CNN. “It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”
