Chrissy Teigen Unclogs Her Pores with John Legend's $15 Cleanser, Now Available on Amazon: 'That’s My Favorite'

Singer and songwriter John Legend wants everyone to feel good in their own skin.

Last year, the Grammy award-winning artist developed Loved01 (pronounced “loved one”), a vegan, dermatologist-approved, unisex skincare brand that addresses the needs of all skin tones and types with affordable products. And this month, the line celebrated its first anniversary with the launch of its Amazon storefront.

To commemorate the milestone, Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, provided customers with a firsthand look at their skincare routines during a recent Amazon livestream, while highlighting some of their favorites from the collection. Legend was quick to let viewers know that, while the products started at just $10, they do not “skimp on quality” and are made with amazing ingredients, such as rosehip and sea buckthorn oil.

He showed two of the brand’s newest products, a hand wash and body lotion, which Legend called “vanity candy” because the couple keeps a set near every sink in their homes, then introduced the exfoliating cleanser which Tiegien told viewers earlier in the livestream: ‘That’s my favorite.’

“I love the exfoliating cleanser,” Teigen shared and even demonstrates how she uses it. The Cravings cookbook author added that she uses it mainly on her face around her T-zone areas because her chin and nose pores get really clogged up.

The cleanser is suitable for all skin types and can be used on the face and body. It is formulated without any potentially harmful ingredients, such as parabens, mineral oil, petroleum, artificial dyes, or synthetic fragrances. It contains fine bamboo powder and plant-based oils to remove dead skin cells, sea buckthorn oil and rose hip oil to moisturize, and aloe to soothe.

Teigen isn't the only fan of the brand's exfoliating cleanser: Several users, who received the product for free, shared that the scrub didn't have an overpowering scent, their skin wasn't irritated, and they felt clean and refreshed after using it.

The exfoliator has even received praise from a PEOPLE shopping editor, who stated that “it was super gentle” on their skin and recommends it for those with dry skin. They also shared that they don’t plan to use it regularly on their face, but noted, they loved using the cleanser on the rest of their body because it gave them “just enough exfoliation and hydration.”
