Chrissy Teigen trolls John Legend over new title: 'The Sexiest Man Alive just made me a ham sandwich'

Leave it to Chrissy Teigen to troll husband John Legend over being named People’s Sexiest Man Alive.

Since the announcement on Tuesday, the model and cookbook author, 33, has been non-stop teasing the singer, 40, over the frankly very teasable title. She’s shared the non-sexy household tasks he’s been doing since learning of the accolade, revealed that their kids don’t care a lick about his looks and updated her Twitter bio to reflect that she is “currently sleeping with People's Sexiest Man Alive.”

“The Sexiest Man Alive just made me a ham sandwich,” Teigen tweeted late Tuesday.

That was after telling him that he “had come a long way, baby.”

And quipped, it’s “all downhill from here.”

Teigen also posted a video of their adorable kids, Luna and Miles, not being impressed with their dad’s cuteness. “I wanna watch the movie mom,” their daughter said — clearly annoyed she was interrupted for her mom’s silly chatter about dad being sexy — as their son cried loudly in the background.

She also poked fun at Legend’s awkward phase in the mid-1990s, suggesting that his predecessor for the title, Idris Elba, probably never had one.

And told Legend the throwback he used was “one of your better photos from those days.”

Teigen also couldn’t wait to see who disagreed with the magazine’s pick, saying the anger over it will be “my new Starbucks holiday cup.”

And made fun of the emoji People had created for social media. “I don’t get it. Where is it?” she asked. “Is it just Arthur?,” referring to Legend’s aardvark lookalike.

At one point, Teigen also asked him to hurry home — he was working on The Voice, which also addressed his new title, as Blake Shelton once held it — because, “We want to make fun of you in person.”

Though Teigen’s not above letting her 11.9 million followers know that she shares a bed with the newest Sexiest Man Alive.

She also updated her Twitter bio to reflect it.

And revised his impressive “EGOT” title — an EGOT winner is someone who has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony — which the mag changed up to include the new accolade. (Legend wore a EGOTPSMA necklace for the photo shoot.)

Prior to Tuesday’s announcement, Teigen wrote that she had “big news and it’s killing me,” but added that it was “not a baby.”

On Tuesday’s The Voice — where Legend said he picked up sexy tips sitting next to 2017 Sexiest Man Alive Shelton — he said Teigen is “proud of me” for landing the hunk award.

“You know, she makes fun of me almost all the time, but she hasn’t even been snarky about this,” he said during the show. “She’s like legit proud of me. I finally impressed my wife!”

Well, he must not have seen all her tweets because she’s certainly had fun with the topic. But he’s probably just so excited he didn’t notice — or too busy whipping up sandwiches for his wife.
