Chrissy Teigen trolls her dad on his birthday with controversial Trump supporter photo

If Chrissy Teigen is willing to mock the love of her life and father of her children for his resemblance to the cartoon character Arthur, it stands to reason that even her own dad is fair game.

The cookbook author — currently vacationing in Bali with John Legend and their two children — marked her father’s birthday by sharing a series of sentimental photos featuring her proud papa, Ron Teigen. Of course, she couldn’t resist slipping in a joke at the end.

Happy birthday to my wonderful papa!!! The last photo is my favorite!!

Scroll through to the last photo — Teigen’s “favorite” — and you’ll see not her dear dad but two Trump supporters wearing MAGA caps and “I’d Rather Be A Russian Than A Democrat” T-shirts. The men — neither of whom sired Teigen, in case you’re wondering — have been stirring up the internet since reporter Jeremy Pelzer shared his photo of their eyebrow-raising outfits at a pro-Trump rally in Ohio over the weekend.

“The last photo is not my dad,” Teigen clarified in the comments, though some followers still expressed disbelief that the outspoken liberal had a dad who went to MAGA rallies.

“I totally wasn’t expecting the last pic… Chrissy Teigen is so anti-DJT [Donald J. Trump] but yet… interesting,” one confused fan responded.

All jokes aside, Papa Teigen is very much on the same side of the political divide as his daughter, judging by his tweets calling for the president to be impeached. To quote one recent tweet: “Love the tweet. Hate the Russian in it.”

It’s safe to say, then, that his daughter’s prank hit him right where it hurts — and she’s already paying the price.

Of course, Teigen can always make it up to her father by splashing out on a big birthday gift. Can she top the $72,000 each of her family members coughed up for charity to mark President Trump’s big day?
