Chrissy Teigen Has Sweet Christmas-Themed Staycation with Daughter Luna: 'Girl's Day with My Lu'

The mother-daughter duo decorated Christmas cakes, indulged in a Shirley Temple bar and watched Christmas movies

Chrissy Teigen is having a little bonding time with her daughter ahead of the holidays.

Over the weekend, the Cravings cookbook author, 38, shared a series of videos and photos to her Instagram Story as she spent some time with her daughter Luna, 7. The mother-daughter duo enjoyed a staycation together, which included an elaborate build-your-own Shirley Temple bar and Christmas cake decorating.

Teigen also shared a photo of her handmade movie tickets, which read "Christmas Movie Night" on the top. Later, the two did eye masks and sipped on warm drinks as they cuddled together in a big chair.

At the end of the night, Teigen snapped a picture of her daughter asleep, passed out after a day of fun.

"Girl's day with my Lu!!" the mom of four wrote across one of the videos.

Teigen shares her four kids — Esti, 10 months, Wren, 5 months, Miles, 5, and Luna — with husband John Legend, 44.

Teigen and Legend recently celebrated their first Thanksgiving as a family of six and posted photos of their holiday celebrations to their Instagrams.

In one sweet snap shared on Teigen's Instagram Story, the couple was captured cuddling up to one another as they stood next to a table filled with an incredible food spread. Legend was later seen serving himself from the table and piling his plate high with food, while Teigen also showed off the family's delicious-looking dessert options.

Earlier in the day, Legend got sentimental about the holiday and posted a black and white photo with his wife and their four kids with the caption, "So grateful for my family, my everything. Happy Thanksgiving to you all!"

The post was followed by an adorable selfie with Esti, whom he and Teigen welcomed in January. "Esti’s first Thanksgiving was a success!" The Voice coach captioned the snap.

In August, Teigen opened up to PEOPLE about being a mom of four kids, saying, "For me, the hardest part is making sure the older ones feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies.”

She continued, "There's a lot of diaper changing and feeding and it seems like you're coddling these two little babies and they're not getting enough. I think any parent of multiple kids can understand that you want to make sure they still feel loved."
