Chrissy Teigen’s Squishy Baby Wren Is ‘Pure Joy’ in Adorable New Photos

Newborn babies are called “bundles of joy,” but we think older babies fit the nickname better. Just look at Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s 11-month-old baby Wren! The squishy little cutie is “pure joy” in a new set of photos, and we can’t help but smile with him.

“Wren’s pure joy appreciation post 🤍🩷🤍🩷🤍” the proud mama, who also shares Esti, 16 months, Miles, 6, and Luna, 8, with Legend, captioned the photos on Instagram Wednesday. In the first picture, Wren sits in a highchair, with the remains of his meal scattered in crumbs along the tray. He raises two sticky-looking arms in the air and gives the camera a messy smile. He is so precious — even while covered in food!

Wren shows off his two bottom teeth in another photo, as he smiles while playing with a soccer ball. There are also snaps of him playing in a circular gymnastics mat, holding a toy car, crawling around with his tongue sticking out, and more. He is smiling in every single photo with the chunkiest cheeks and the wildest curly hair. What a perfect baby!

Fans were just as delighted by this little cutie as we were. “The happiest little baby ❤️,” one person wrote. Another said, “The way we absolutely needed this today. 😍”

“Sweet jolly wren!!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺😫🥰🥰” someone else wrote. One person commented, “I wanna squeeze ❤️❤️” Even Kris Jenner left a string of heart-eye emojis on the precious pictures.

Last year, Wren was named PEOPLE’s Cutest Baby in 2023, which Teigen joked was a little awkward since she has two babies. “Hey, Wren was named PEOPLE Magazine’s cutest baby of the year last year. Congrats!” Andy Cohen told the Cravings author during a Jan. 2024 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, per PEOPLE.

“I know, hard to break to Esti,” Teigen responded with a laugh. “It was a little awkward and then I was like, it’s the Sexiest Man issue. You’ll be in the PEOPLE’s Most Beautiful. It’s an odd problem to have, OK?”

Definitely is! But Esti is super cute too. Earlier this month, the Chrissy & Dave Dine Out star shared that Esti reached a big childhood milestone: starting preschool! “This also happened today 😭,” she wrote in the caption.

These babies are growing up and getting more adorable by the day!
