Chrissy Teigen slipped into a pair of clear stilettos to attend the 30th Anniversary ACE Awards at the Pierre Hotel in New York City on Tuesday night.
Presenting an award to Cult Gaia founder Jasmin Hekmat and wearing a dress that was custom Cult Gaia along with the brand’s nano clutch bag, Giga Earrings and Platform Sandals in Sand Dollar, the stilettos donned some similarities to the ones she wore last month for the special screening of “A Man in Full” in Hollywood, Calif. Styled by Alana Van Deraa, the shoes featured a barely-there silhouette, with a thin strap decorating the almond toe and ankle. She also opted for an elevated sandal look this past December during an outing to the Polo Bar in NYC to celebrate husband John Legend’s birthday. For the occasion, Teigen wore a pair of strappy black leather sandal heels that featured lush leather uppers and sturdy straps.
When the television personality isn’t in pumps and stilettos, you can find her in comfortable footwear options such as the Uggs she sported for a Los Angeles outing in April. The boots were crafted with recycled sheepskin material.
About the shoes
The stilettos worn by Teigen for the 30th Anniversary ACE Awards featured a clear silhouette with two gold straps across the upper part of the foot. A platform toe box accompanied the model, which was completed by a stiletto heel measuring between 3 and 4 inches.
Open-toe silhouettes have been a go-to choice for many celebrities as of late including Shakira, Regina King, Karrueche and Saweetie.
