Chrissy Teigen Posts Throwback Cheerleading Photo Inspired by Netflix's New Docuseries 'Cheer'

This week, Teigen shared a photo from back when she was in high school. Feeling inspired after watching the new Netlifx Docuseries Cheer, Teigen posted a picture of her in a cheerleading outfit.

If you haven't heard about Netflix's new Docuseries Cheer, you're definitely missing out. The series is getting incredibly positive reviews, and NBC referred to it as, "Exactly the kind of show America needs right now."
Cheer follows the students and coaches from Navarro College as they work hard toward the National title. These are serious athletes who are struggling with things like mental health, and balancing school, work and cheerleading.
If you're a fan of sports movies and documentaries, we couldn't recommend this series more. It's even approved by the Twitter Queen herself.
We're used to Teigen being the literal Queen of snark and sass, but she brought her humor to a whole new level with this one.
In the caption of her picture on Instagram she wrote,
"watching cheer on Netflix got me reminiscing about how i sucked at cheerleading almost as much as I sucked at doing my brows. Truly no idea how I made this team. The best part is they claimed there was no JV/varsity but one squad got to cheer for basketball and football and the other (mine) got volleyball and wrestling. I still remember my mat cheers though. Go fight win baby. Go fight win."
This picture is not only a fun flashback into what Chrissy's life was like before she achieved A-list celebrity status, but a reminder that things have changed for her big time.
For one, she now either knows how to do her eyebrows or pays someone to do them for her.
She also has a very popular cookbook and website and spends a lot of her time on Twitter talking to her fans. She's also a model, and the host of Bring the Funny.
While it may seem like her life has completely changed from cheerleading to fame and fortune, she still gives us down-to-earth vibes, and we love it. We'll always appreciate her getting real with us on Twitter and sharing her old pictures will us.
