Last night, the Cravings author and model mama took toChrissy Teigen Is the Latest Celeb Pledging Money to Bail Out Protesters Twitter to share her intentions, writing: “In celebration of whatever the fuck maga night is, I am committed to donating $100,000 to the bailouts of protestors across the country.”

Later, after taking a further intake into the situation along with community feedback (including a now-deleted tweet labeling the protesters “criminals”), Teigen doubled down (or doubled up?) on her donation, following up on her previous tweet with another: “Ooo they might need more money then. Make it $200,000.”

She reposted the exchange on Instagram, too, steering her followers to direct links.

Of course, Teigen isn’t the only celebrity raising her voice and donating her money: As People reported, Stars including Seth Rogan, Steve Carell, Janelle Monae, Don Cheadle, Kehlani, Jameela Jamil, among others, have donated to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a nonprofit organization to help criminal bail and immigration bonds for those who cannot afford to take these actions themselves.
