Chrissy Teigen & John Legend's Son Took His First Steps & the Video Is Too Cute

Make way for Miles Stephens. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s son Miles took his first steps, and the video is too cute. The mom of two took to her Instagram and Twitter on Tuesday, July 23, to reveal that her 1-year-old son is now walking. Video of the moment shows Teigen and Legend’s baby boy walking — albeit, stumbling — from the living room coffee table to the couch with a toy car in hand for mama.

“Good job! You took a step! Good job! Who loves cars more than Miles?” Teigen gushes in the video as Miles turns around and returns to the center of the living room for more toys. “I think I just got his first real steps!” The Lip Sync Battle co-host wrote over the video on her Instagram story. She later tweeted the video with the caption, “I think I just caught his first real steps! Does this count?” (We think it does, Chrissy.)

As cute as the video is, everyone in Teigen’s mentions couldn’t help but focus on how much Miles looks like his famous dad. “I don’t think John Legend looks as much like John Legend as that baby looks like John Legend,” one user tweeted. Another added, “I’m sorry, but that is a very smol John.” One more wrote, “Miles has John’s WHOLE face!”

Teigen and Legend — who also share 3-year-old daughter Luna — welcomed Miles on May 16, 2018. Both Miles and Luna were conceived via in vitro fertilization, something the Cravings author has been very open about. In 2018, Teigen told People about her decision to go through IVF. “You do the whole process again to try to get as many embryos and eggs as possible,” she said. “Everyone is freezing everything and then you make the embryos out of what you freeze and try to make viable, perfect embryos.”
