Luna Legend is 8, y’all! The oldest of the Teigen-Legend family just celebrated her birthday, and dad John Legend was quick to post a sweet birthday tribute on Instagram. The “All of Me” singer shared a carousel of eight photos (how fitting!) of his not-so-little girl looking as adorable as ever. From her stunning dance photos to a fun lemon-picking shot, each picture is somehow cuter than the last!
“Luna made us parents 8 years ago today and she’s truly the best daughter we could ask for,” he wrote. “We love you to the moon and back, my brilliant girl!

Legend no doubt had the best of intentions when posting his tribute, but he made a major mistake. And his wife Chrissy Teigen was not going to let him live it down.
“Just read this to Esti,” she quickly commented. Because the power couple has two daughters, Luna and Esti, 1 along with their sons Miles, 5 and Wren, 10 months. So yeah, that “best daughter” comment was not Legend’s best work. (Unless he’s like Drew Brees and has no problem outright admitting who his favorite child is.)
“LMAOOOOOO😭,” one follower replied to Teigen. “you are hilarious!” another said.
“shhhhhhhh,” Legend responded.

Meanwhile, a comment from a follower that may have been deleted garnered a perfect response from Teigen who never has a problem standing up to internet trolls. Someone with too much damn time and hatred on their hands had the audacity to comment saying Teigen and Legend are “always trying to stay relevant by talking and keep on having kids.”
To which the Cravings author reportedly clapped back with, “Yes very bored and need attention and there is no other way in the world to get it than having kids.”
Because seriously?! As much as I want to step on my soapbox and deliver a monologue on why that comment is so effing ridiculous, I don’t even want to dignify it with a response.
Back in 2017, we dubbed Teigen the Clapback Queen, and while we wish she could retire the crown, we’re glad to see she’s still not taking any bullsh*t.
