Chrissy Teigen Hosts an Epic Mother’s Day Celebration & All 4 Kids Were Dressed To Impress

Mother’s Day came early for Chrissy Teigen! She hosted a Cravings by Chrissy Teigen Tea Party with her husband John Legend and their four kids, and everyone looked marvelous at the sunny outdoor event.
The party was Mad Hatter-themed and included tea sandwiches and Teigen’s famous Ultimate Banana Bread and The Perfect Chocolate Chunk Cookies, per PEOPLE. There were airbrush tattoos for kids, as well as balloon animals, cotton candy, and a Build-A-Bear set-up.

Teigen and Legend’s eldest daughter Luna, 8, made a special stuffed bunny in photos from the event, which was wearing a cute “Best Mom” t-shirt. Luna proudly held up her bear for one picture with an arm covered in pink tattoos.
For the adults, guests sipped on drinks made with Jimmy John’s new Jimmy Pickle Bloody Mary Mix, garnished with a Jimmy John’s sandwich and a pickle. Um, yum! Teigen modeled the unique drink in one photo, looking dazzling in a lavender dress designed to look like a delicate flower and sparkling diamond earrings. Other activities included a POM Lemongrass Ginger Punch, a tarot card reader, massage services, bouquet-making via Teleflora, and a special performance by the “All of Me” singer. So basically, everything a mom could ever want!
The whole family was dressed beautifully for the event. In one family photo (which PEOPLE has HERE), Teigen held Esti, 15 months, on her hip. The baby girl had a little pink bow in her hair and a light green dress, with a sandwich in her hand. Luna was next to her mom, smiling in a white dress with her hair up in a bun. Miles, 5, stood next to his sister in a khaki blazer over a white shirt with matching khaki shorts. Legend stood on the other side of Miles, wearing a cream suit over a floral print button-down, holding son Wren, 10 months, in his arm. Wren looked as dapper as his siblings in khaki pants with a floral print button-down shirt.
Honestly, that beautiful family photo alone would make the perfect Mother’s Day gift!
Earlier this month, Teigen and Legend took family photos with their kids in Thailand, with everyone dressed in Chut Thai (traditional Thai clothing). They looked like royalty in their colorful clothing, posing on steps outside.
Despite these examples, though, the Chrissy & Dave Dine Out star struggles with taking photos just as much as we do. She captioned a post in November, “level of photo difficulty – 1000.” And that was just a shot of her holding her two youngest babies! In July, she lamented about another photo (this time with all four kids), “’One with all my babies’ never works 😭”
Now that Teigen got the perfect photo, what will she do when Mother’s Day comes around on May 12? Last year, she gave a sweet shout-out to her mom and one to her kids’ caregivers. “grateful for all the people who make it possible for me to be the best mother I can possibly be,” she captioned the post filled with photos of babysitters and nannies watching Teigen’s kids. “I am endlessly thankful for your presence in this home and all our lives. we love you. 💕🥰💕🥰💕🥰”
Teigen deserves a day of peace and quiet, but something tells us she’ll probably spend Mother’s Day with her kids — and that’s totally OK, too. Maybe they could at least give her a foot massage or breakfast in bed!
