But Teigen's newfound love for the Cincinnati staple and her appearance at the Kroger Wellness Festival on Friday are not her only connections to Ohio.

Teigen is married to Grammy-winning singer and Springfield, Ohio native John Legend, who apparently taught her the "O-H-I-O" cheer when they first met.

"The first week I met John, he taught he how to finish the O-H," Teigen said during the Kroger Wellness Festival.

While on stage, the mother of two also said she is a Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State University fan because of Legend.

"I have to be," Teigen joked.

Who is John Legend, aka Chrissy Teigen's husband?

Legend, who grew up in Springfield, Ohio, is a singer, songwriter, pianist and record producer. He received his first break in the music industry in 1998 when rapper and singer Lauryn Hill asked him to play piano on her song "Everything Is Everything."

Since his musical debut, Legend has released eight full-length studio albums, four live albums and two video albums. In 2018, he became the first Black man and second-youngest person to have won all four major American entertainment awards: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, making him an official EGOT.

Legend met Teigen in 2006 while filming the music video for his song "Stereo," in which Teigen made an appearance. The couple became engaged in December 2011 and married in Como, Italy, on Sept. 14, 2013. According to Yahoo News, Legend's 2013 song "All of Me" was written for Teigen and performed at their wedding.

In August, the couple announced on Teigen's Instagram that they are expecting another child.
