Chrissy Teigen’s beauty may look effortless, but she actually gets a lot of help — especially from her 8-year-old daughter Luna. The Chrissy & Dave Dine Out star revealed the way Luna helped her get “glam” for her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover in a new interview.

At the SI Swimsuit Issue Launch Party in New York City last week, Teigen told Extra that her eldest child with husband John Legend went all out to help her get ready for the photo shoot. “Luna was actually using the leaf blower on my hair,” Teigen told the outlet, adding that her daughter “loves seeing all this stuff ever since she was little.”

“She loved watching me in glam, getting hair and makeup done,” Teigen continued. “She puts on my shoes, everything… She was clicking the little clicker for our video takes, and John was going through photos.”

That sounds amazing! I can just picture Luna holding up the leaf blower to give her mom that perfect windswept look. It must have been a cool full-circle moment for Teigen, who has now been in nine Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues. “So much as changed since my first [issue],” the Cravings author told the outlet. “I obviously have four children now. Sports Illustrated has been there for me through so many different life stages… through the IVF process, through, like, major moments where I didn’t think that I would go any further.

In a February interview on the Jennifer Hudson Show, Teigen revealed how Luna takes care of her and her siblings (Miles, 6, Esti, 16 months, and Wren, 11 months). “Luna is just like the mother of us all,” Teigen gushed. “I mean, she takes care of me when I’m sick…she brings me ice packs if I have a headache. She loves being a nurse.”

But it’s not all out of the goodness of her heart: Luna also does it for money. “She gives foot massages for cash now,” Teigen said, adding that she’s “really” good. “She’s obsessed with her piggy bank that she just got from her Grandpa. It’s like a little ATM machine. So she just loads that money in, and she is happy,” Teigen added.

It sounds like Luna’s got it all figured out!
