Chrisley Knows Best’s Savannah Chrisley Pays Tribute to Nic Kerdiles Following His Shocking Death: ‘We Loved Hard’

Chrisley Knows Best/Growing Up Chrisley star Savannah Chrisley remembered her former fiancé Nic Kerdiles, who died in a motorcycle accident this weekend, on Instagram Saturday.

Kerdiles passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center early Saturday morning, per WKRN News 2. Kerdiles reportedly drove through a stop sign and collided with a BMW. Investigators said there were no signs that either driver was impaired, and charges likely will not be filed.

“Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today,” Chrisley wrote in an Instagram story on Saturday. “I miss you and I love you… I’ll forever save our last messages of ‘I love you.'”

The reality TV star went on to ask Kerdiles to send her a sign that he’s OK, before adding: “We loved hard… and I can’t wait to ride bikes along the beaches of Heaven with you one day.”

“No words…. I love you man,” Savannah’s brother, Chase Chrisley, wrote in an Instagram story. “Doesn’t feel real…l lost a brother today… I know God has a plan but man I don’t understand it today. Fly high my brother and rest easy.”

Kyle Chrisley, another of Savannah’s brothers, also posted to Instagram. “There are really no words,” he wrote under a photo of Nic with some of the Chrisley men. “Nic was a good soul all the way around. He was incredibly hard working and was always there for you. He wasn’t just Savannah’s ex fiancé, he was a part of our family. My daddy loved him, my nanny adored him and I know Savannah is beside herself. It’s just absolutely heartbreaking. Please pray for comfort for everyone that knew him and loved him.”

Kerdiles was a former NHL hockey player. He was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 2012 and later joined the Winnipeg Jets in 2018.

He was also featured on several episodes of USA’s Chrisley Knows Best and its spinoff Growing Up Chrisley. Chrisley began dating Kerdiles in November 2017 and the pair announced their engagement in 2019. They ultimately called off their wedding in July 2020.
