She paired her new lob with a sexy latex dress at the award show
Chrishell Stause didn't just make a statement with her latex dress on the 2024 People's Choice Awards red carpet on Sunday night — she turned heads with her new hairstyle too.
The Selling Sunset star, who walked the red carpet with partner G-Flip, showed off her shorter 'do, and we nearly missed it because her body-hugging dress was that much of a showstopper.
But back to that hair! Before the show, Stause, 42, had long hair well past her shoulders, but she showed off her transformation on TikTok — and it involved a major, and we mean major, chop. Whether it involved a wig or extensions remains a mystery, but by the time Stause stepped onto the carpet, her hair was an angled lob just past her collarbones that perfectly accented her sexy dress.
Stause, who was nominated for reality TV star of the year, wore an eggplant-colored gown with a mermaid silhouette by Atsuko Kudo Couture Latex Design. The dress featured a plunging scalloped neckline and a dramatic train, which her Australian musician love, 30, (who uses they/them pronouns) arranged on the carpet while Stause posed for photos.
And that's not the only help Stause needed with her ensemble. She revealed on E!'s red carpet livestream that the latex, "involves a little bit of lube to get into it."
G Flip, 30, opted for an off-white distressed suit with patchwork detailing on the button-up shirt and wide-leg trousers. They topped off the look with Dr. Martens Jadon Boots, sunglasses and chain necklaces by Sterling Forever and Nissa Jewelry.
In May 2023, the couple tied the knot at a Las Vegas wedding chapel. The real estate agent wore a floor-length, pearlescent white gown by Gemeli Power, while the "Worst Person Alive' artist wore a suit by Melbourne-based designer E Nolan.
"It was a very small group there with us and some friends and family watching on a live stream," Stause told PEOPLE.

The pair later revealed that Stause tattooed their wedding vows on her ribcage while G Flip had them inked onto her arm. The couple shared that the tattoos reference the night they met at a Halloween party, where they were both dressed as skeletons.
When asked about newlywed life, Stause shared of her partner: "Just the best. They're my best friend. We have a lot fun. I'm very lucky. They've been helping with my train all night. So amazing."
