Chrisean Rock admitted she made a motherly "mistake" after a viral video showed her sporting her weeks-old son in a chest carrier with his head and upper body tilted backwards with no support. The video was taken inside a Walmart and fans piled on Chrisean for seemingly holding onto her dog in a tighter way than her baby, whom she's named Jonathan Jamall Porter Jr.

"Like instead of that lady recording me, she just could have helped me," Chrisean, 23, said in a Friday, September 22, Instagram Story video about how the new mom could have used a hand or some advice.

"I got a dog, two carts full of s--t I need for my house. I'm calling my baby daddy. Is he helping? No, so I don't know why he's chiming in either," she continued, calling out her son's father, rapper Blueface. The 26-year-old artist had been critical of how she held their son in the video in a series of posts on X.

Chrisean then addressed the challenges of being a single new mom. "The mommy s--t is cool but your mind is racing 36 hours a day and transitioning to being everything in my situation ... I don't know, everything is overwhelming," she confessed, adding, "I'm still learning. I love my baby. He's a good baby. Everybody make mistakes. Period."

Blueface wrote several posts on X -- formerly known as Twitter -- that addressed the Walmart video and Chrisean's situation.

"My last tweet had none to do with the Walmart video. My last tweet was about the apology an nice things she said about me on live," he wrote on September 22, adding, "As far as the Walmart video aye man she gone do her an I can’t micromanage her an the baby. Y'all said I was doing to much so I backed off she gone be ok."

Blueface followed it up with another post where he hoped she'd be a more "responsible" parent to his son while seeming to offer Chrisean support. "I know she going thru some an it’s not easy no hood harder then parent hood so I’m not gone be mean to her no more cuz her mental state determines how my son day goes," the "Bleed It" rapper wrote, adding, "Let’s just encourage her to be more accountable an responsible this time around come on rock we got this I’m here."

Chrisean gave birth to the former couple’s first child on September 3, and ever since it has been nothing but drama. She initially named her son Chrisean Malone Jr. after herself, which Blueface was critical of.

“I actually feel bad for my son at this point he’s a junior to his mom he don’t gotta be named after me but at least put some thought into it that was some quick last minute,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “What do you want to name umm just write down Chrisean Malone.”

Chrisean revealed on September 21 that she was changing the infant's name to Jonathan Jamall Porter Jr. after Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter.
