Chrisean Rock Allegedly Assaulted Singer James Wright Chanel At Tamar Braxton Show

Chrisean Rock has been accused of assaulting James Wright Chanel, background singer to Tamar Braxton, during one of her recent shows.

The rapper and reality star was reportedly invited to Braxton’s concert on Friday (Nov. 10), where she allegedly became angry after not being allowed to perform her music for the crowd. According to a member of Braxton’s team, Le Troy Davis, Rock came to the venue “drunk, with 1,000 people, smelling like weed.”

Davis detailed that Rock got into some sort of argument with Wright Chanel backstage about not performing, and then struck the singer in his face, leaving him bloody with a chipped tooth. He reportedly had to seek medical attention to stop the bleeding.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, Davis wrote, “I just want to let yall know that that girl Chrisean yall keep hyping up assaulted James Wright Chanel at Tamar’s concert tonight. James is in the hospital. I swear I will do everything to make sure she goes to prison. She is trash and that’s why her life is the way that it is. She deserves every bad thing that happens to her.”

In response to Davis, Rock hopped on IG Live the next day defending herself.

“I been brought up before and I know how it goes a certain way…false narratives saying ‘this happened,’ ‘she did that.’ I don’t know. I think it’s just a clout chasing thing…honestly, I need to start protecting my name,” she said.

Wright Chanel seemingly confirmed that he was assaulted by the new mother in a video, where he did not show his face.

“Everybody wanna tell stories and tell they versions…I was an innocent bystander,” he said in complete darkness. “You know, you still gotta keep joy and stuff…I don’t know what be wrong with people.”

He went on, “All I did was went to work, chile…y’all already know what type of person I am…but let me tell you what ain’t nobody gone do…ain’t nobody gone take my joy…my praise…my worship…y’all should see my f**ing face, and I still got joy.”

Since then, Rock has deactivated her social media accounts. Braxton has not yet commented on the incident.

In surfaced clips of that night’s show, Rock could be seen awkwardly taking the stage with Braxton, with some accusing her of “pulling a lil mama.” Rock walked around the stage, ad-libbing words on a microphone as Braxton performed “Love and War.”

She was also seen flicking it up with Toni and Tamar Braxton as she attempted to twerk in the photo, leaving Toni with a bewildered look on her face.
