Chris Pratt's daughters haven't seen any of his work.

On Sunday, May 19, the actor, 44, attended the premiere of his film The Garfield Movie in Hollywood, Calif., and spoke with PEOPLE on the red carpet about whether his kids had seen the new flick. Pratt shares his daughters, Eloise Christina, 23 months, and Lyla Maria, 3, with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt and is dad to son Jack, whom he shares with ex Anna Faris.

Asked if he would show The Garfield Movie to his kids, Pratt says, "Yeah, 100%. Especially a movie like Garfield, it's truly safe for all ages, and my daughters are both very young."

"My son's 11, so he's seen a lot of the things that I'm in, but my girls have never seen anything I've been in, so this will probably be the first thing that they see."

Earlier this month, Pratt spoke with E! News about raising his three kids, noting that he has a few different approaches when it comes to parenting his son than he does with his daughters.

"I hate to make generalizations based on gender but, in my experience, girls are more emotional," Pratt said. "They've got me wrapped around their finger. It's wild."

Adding that all his kids are "cuddly and snuggly," Pratt shared that his daughters often require a softer touch and "don't like to rough house as much."

"I'll hit them with a pillow and they'll go, 'Daddy, that hurt my feelings,' " he said of playing with his girls. "They like to hear stories more than they like to wrestle."

Among other things, Pratt noted that a "big difference" he sees is the amount of planning in their day-to-day lives.

"But even the differences between my two daughters just goes to show that every child is a little bit different," he added.

On Valentine's Day, Pratt shared a sweet tribute to Schwarzenegger Pratt on Instagram, praising her as "an amazing wife, mama, step-mama and friend."

"Happy Valentine’s Day Darling! The kids and I are so lucky to have you in our lives," he wrote, concluding, "Grateful for you today and always ♥️."
