Who doesn’t love a good love story? We learned details about Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson’s post-reconciliation date night, and it sounds so dreamy. The couple recently got back together after short lived breakup that surprised their close friends. Now, the two are back on track and we love to see them thriving.

According to Us Weekly, the couple had a low-key dinner date at Surf Lodge in Montauk, New York, this past Friday, just a few weeks after getting back together. “They were sitting at a corner table with another man but it was just the three of them. Dakota had her arm around Chris for a bit and they were talking to the guy with them,” an insider shared with the outlet. “Both of them were wearing sweaters because it was kind of chilly, and they were both drinking water and eating away.”

Apparently, a table next to the Coldplay frontman and Fifty Shades of Grey star sent the celebrity couple drinks out of the blue. The pair went over to thank the table and shared a few niceties; they were all smiles. After dinner, the couple, “left the restaurant together holding hands,” per the sources knowledge. Just a chill, low-key night for these two.

Just two weeks ago, Johnson and Martin had a beach day/ double date with Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Brad Falchuk. Paltrow, who was married to Martin from 2003 to 2016, was instrumental in getting the couple back together. Johnson and Martin’s short lived breakup lasted only a few months and was first reported back in June. The couple have been dating since 2017. It was a major shock to their close friends as the pair had seriously been considering engagement for some time. Now, it looks like the couple is back to enjoying each other’s company, taking their relationship a day at a time, and enjoying those cozy, low-key nights.
