Sometimes you go through a breakup and know you never want to see that person ever again; other times, it only takes a short while for you to realize your mistake. It seems the latter happened with this celeb couple: Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson are back together after their brief split, and as far as we can tell, things are going swimmingly. Reports are not yet confirmed — but after multiple sightings together and a new source coming forward, we’re pretty confident that this is exactly what it looks like.

A source tells Us Weekly exclusively that this duo is back on, though given how they spent their past week, we could have guessed. The 42-year-old musician was at work events for Johnson on two separate occasions: On Wednesday, the Covers wrap party, and on Thursday, the Peanut Butter Falcon premiere. The couple first confirmed their relationship in December 2017.

While 29-year-old Johnson seems cozied back up to Martin now, the possibility of reconciliation looked much less certain a few weeks back, when Martin was spotted kissing pop star Dua Lipa. Martin’s rep later denied any romantic involvement between the two, claiming they were merely “both in the same area of the festival with a larger group of friends.”

Before their break-up, Johnson had become an integral part of Martin’s life, spending time with the singer’s two children and even his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. Twitter seems happy enough that this couple has been spotted together again, with one account tweeting: “If #DakotaJohnson and #ChrisMartin are still together, it’s because they both feel comfortable in their relationship, so let’s be happy for them.” Hear, hear!
