Chris Hemsworth and Wife Elsa Pataky Smile with All Three Kids as They Pose with Ski Gear on Snowy Mountain

The actor and his wife are parents to daughter India Rose and twin sons Sasha and Tristan

Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky treated their three kids to an epic ski trip over the holidays.

On Thursday, Pataky, 47, shared a few photos to her Instagram of her family's trip to the mountains. In the snaps, her three kids — daughter India Rose, 11, and 9-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan — pose with their family and dad Hemsworth, 40, snowboarding down the slopes and gathering together for a card game in front of the Christmas tree.

In one sweet photo, the family of five is joined by their friends as they pose together on the slopes, holding their respective skis and snowboards.

"New Years at the snow with my love ones. Happy New Year to all of you. / Celebrando el Año Nuevo con la gente que quiero y me hace feliz. Feliz Año a todos!" the model captioned her post, writing in both English and Spanish.

In December, Pataky shared a series of photos of herself and her family decorating the Christmas tree in their home on Instagram. Wearing floral shorts and a white T-shirt, the mom of three hung an ornament while her son stood on a ladder, adding an ornament above her. In another photo, daughter India can be seen adding another item to the tree.

Pataky's niece also appeared in the pictures, sitting on the ground while her aunt added ornaments and posed for a photo by the tree.

"It’s beginning to look like Christmas!! /ya empieza la Navidad! #littleniecehelpingtoo," she captioned her photo.

In October, Pataky shared a photo as she and Hemsworth treated their kids to a "family race day." "Not competitive at all 🤣🤣," she added in the caption of the post, which was also written in Spanish.

The post included a video of the proud parents cheering on their kids as they raced on a dirt track and a sweet photo of Pataky and India posing next to motorcycles.

Hemsworth previously shared with PEOPLE that his goal as a father is to teach their kids to "have a great appreciation for everything."

"As a kid, we had very little money, and my parents saved up all year to just pay for a two-week camping vacation," he told PEOPLE in 2017. "Financially, we're in a different position, but I want to make sure they know these things don't come easy. You have to work for it, and you can't take it for granted."
