From Digital Spy

Chris Hemsworth has opened up about his "insanely physical" transformation to play WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan.

The Avengers: Endgame actor will portray the wrestling and reality TV legend in a forthcoming Netflix biopic, directed by Joker's Todd Phillips.

And, speaking recently, Chris revealed that as well as preparing himself to "do a deep dive into the rabbit hole of the wrestling world", the role will require him to do "insanely physical" preparation.

He'll even have to get bigger than he did when portraying Thor in the MCU.

"This movie is going to be a really fun project," he told Total Film.

"As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical."

"I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor.

"There is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude."

"I will also have to do a deep dive into the rabbit hole of the wrestling world, which I’m really looking forward to doing."

"I'm as intrigued as you are."
