Chris Brown posts a tribute to Rihanna on her 30th birthday
Chris Brown and Rihanna have a long and complicated history, but he still wished her a happy 30th birthday on Tuesday.
The throwback photo of the birthday girl as a cute little tot, which crossed just after midnight, has nearly 600,000 likes so far.

The pair had a headline-making romance, which we touch on in in this review of Rihanna’s romances. They were basically kids in the midst of superstardom when they fell in love, and it was a toxic affair. In February 2009, he assaulted her after a pre-Grammy party — the horrific photos went viral — and he wound up with a felony conviction. They parted ways but nonetheless tried to make it work again, rekindling things in late 2012 and splitting again the next year.
“I don’t hate him. I will care about him until the day I die,” Rihanna, who now dates Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel, told Vanity Fair in November 2015.
Clearly, he feels the same way.
